Early voting

Voting before Election Day

Connecticut's early voting began in 2024. Here's how many Greenwich voters used it, on which days and at what hours, and how that varied across the town.

How Greenwich voted

How each party voted

Everyone in each party who voted, split by how they voted. The number at the right is the share who voted early. Election Day includes people who registered and voted at Town Hall that day.

Day by day

Day and hour

Each square is one hour of one early-voting day, labeled by the hour it ends (11 a.m. means 10 to 11 a.m.); darker means more voters. Early voting runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the Tuesday and Thursday before the election; outlined squares are hours it was closed. Hover or tap for the count.

District by district

Each district's voters split by how they voted. The number at the right is the share who voted early.

Early voting counts are check-ins at Greenwich's early-voting location, grouped by the voter's home district. Absentee counts by district are the absentee ballots recorded at each district's checklist; a few hundred more are counted centrally and appear only in the town total.
